1. TOBBY JORRIN
Tobby, focuses on carefully, creating an image based on the world around him. "He doesn't like fabricating a photo in the studio", he says. That is what he prides himself on. He started out as a staff photographer at the Albuquerque Tribune from 1996 to 2005. He has done alot of interning jobs from the Tribune, Gamma Press Images, Time Magazine & etc. He has a BA from Cornell University & did graduate work at UMSJ (University of Missouri School of Journalism). He's won several awards for his photography work in contests such as; the New Mexico Press Association & AP Managing Editors & also won several Pictures of the Year & Best of Photography awards. He has become much more successful as a freelance photo journalism, doing work for companies such as; New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, USA Chronicle, & etc.
I picked him & that picture because of the style of it. The composition & space in which the photo is set up, is really great. This picture is about the Alberquerque Mayor, Martin Chavez (right) & Attorney Dinelli. There on a block of the city where they succeed in getting substandard aparments razed.

| Kayak Fishing At Sunrise in FL Photograph Taken by Scott Holstein |
Scott Holstien is a freelance photojournalist. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida. He specializes in environmental portraits, lifestyle, sports action, news, and other commercial & editorial photography. He is pretty good in location lighting & works pretty much exclusively on location. He has his BA in Photojournalism from Gardner- Weeb University & was the first assistant for world-reknowned photographer Joe McNally. Some of his work appeared in; Barron's, Charlotte Observer, Chronicle of Higher Education, Delta Sky and etc.
I picked him because his style has some suttle differences. Also, his work stood out to me becuase ofmost of the high contrast in his photos. I think it really sets off a good balance in terms of saturation & vibrance.

3. AUDRA NAPOLITANO
She's a freelance photographer, Graphic Designer and Production Assistant for Hersam Acorn Newspapers. She's a publisher of 19 local, weekly newspapers. She lives in Milford, Connecticut.
Her clients are: American Cancer Society and Historic Hudson Valley. Audra has shot album covers for The Christina Abbott Band and Bob Ricci Band. Her photographs were featured on The Eels website. She has assisted with Dreamscape Studio Photography. Before Audara's work at Hersam Acorn, she was a specialty camera sales associate and photographic lab printer at Milford Camera Shop.
She has a degree in Art History from SCSU (Southern Connecticut State University). Her passion for photography started at the age of twelve, after going to her first concert. She brings this passion to every event she has the opportunity to cover.
Audra see's the world, as images she's taken and pictures she wants to take. She is always touched when someone asks her to capture a moment in their life. She is an environmental photographer; She allows people to be themselves in their natural settings. Audra photojournalistic style helps her tell your story. She wants your individuality to shine through.
I picked her becuase Audra is different. She isn't 100% "out-there" (for lack of a better word) but she is up and coming & I can relate to that from my point of veiw. I'm just starting out to so I can tell she is really putting alot of effort into the pictures that she takes, wether it be the composition, vibrance, contrast or etc.
